The popular show CID is set to return to Sony Entertainment Television after a six-year break. The series originally aired from January 1998 to October 2018. Sony TV announced the comeback by sharing a trailer on their Instagram account, which excited many fans.
In the trailer, we see Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) and Daya (Dayanand Shetty) standing in the rain. A voice asks why they have become enemies after fighting together for their country. Daya then challenges Abhijeet to shoot him, and Abhijeet fires twice. We hear ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) yelling for them to stop. The trailer ends with Daya falling off a cliff while Abhijeet walks away.
