COVID-19 Makes a Comeback in Chitwan After 10 Months
After 10 months, COVID-19 re-emerges in Chitwan. According to Gopal Paudel, the Information Officer at Bharatpur Hospital, coronavirus has been confirmed in a 29-year-old and a 66-year-old man through tests conducted on Sunday and today (Tuesday).
After confirming COVID-19 in elderly patients who came to the hospital for pneumonia treatment, Paudel stated that they have started treatment within the hospital.
Additionally, he mentioned that a 29-year-old man has been placed in home isolation. This information comes after the Health Office in Chitwan reported the reappearance of COVID-19 in the district for the first time in 10 months. The last occurrence was observed in Chaitra (March-April). Following the recent detection, the Health Office has urged everyone to exercise caution, emphasizing the importance of maintaining social distance, using masks, washing hands with soap and water, and following other preventive measures to avoid COVID-19.
