Gold and Silver Prices Drop
On Thursday, Nepal’s gold and silver prices experienced a decline, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The price of fine gold dropped by Rs. 400 per tola to reach Rs. 1,18,000, while Tejabi gold was fixed at Rs. 1,17,450 per tola. This marks a decrease from Wednesday’s prices of Rs. 1,18,400 and Rs. 1,17,850 for fine and Tejabi gold, respectively.
Similarly, the price of silver also saw a reduction, dropping by Rs. 15 per tola to Rs. 1,400. The previous price for silver was Rs. 1,415 per tola.
Wednesday had seen an increase in both gold and silver prices, making this decline a notable shift in the market trend. In the international market, gold was trading at $2,828.15 per ounce, while silver was priced at $22.96 per ounce.
The fluctuation in prices is attributed to various factors including global market trends, currency exchange rates, and local demand. Despite the decrease, the precious metals market remains dynamic, with traders and investors closely monitoring developments for potential opportunities.
