Kathmandu: Microsoft has surpassed Apple to become the world’s most valuable company. Closing the business session at the end of the week, Microsoft secured its position as the largest company globally based on share market capitalization. Earlier in the intraday trading session on Thursday, Microsoft had momentarily fallen behind Apple.

As the business session concluded on Friday, Microsoft’s market capitalization stood at $28.90 trillion, solidifying its lead. In comparison, Apple’s total market capitalization was reported at $28.70 trillion, as indicated by CNBC.

During the past week, Microsoft’s share value increased by 3%, while Apple experienced a 3% decline. This shift in market capitalization reaffirms Microsoft’s current standing as the frontrunner.
